A lot of people always think of God as a Savior, a King, and a Father.  All of these things are just a small portion of what God truely is for me.  As humans, we long for joy, we long to feel good.  Some look for joy in their friends, in their family, or in other areas.  For me I’ve always found my joy in Worship, and that was definitely my comfort zone.  I want to find joy in God through other means, seeing God as I pass by a park, when I’m in a bus or a train, but how.  “We all know that this world is pretty messed up” - Joel Houston.  It’s so hard for me to find God in anyother places but in YFL to be honest.  I guess I put on a mindset that says the world is a hopeless place.  In reality, I’m just being selfish.  I’m not allowing my eyes to be opened to the wonder’s God gives us.  God for me, is a Savior, a King, and a Father, but he is also more than a human figure.  He is a force that enables you to get up, and open your eyes to the goodness of this world.  I was reflecting to the song Savior King, and I couldn’t help but think to myself how funny God could really be.  He gives us a hopeless world, with people who won’t always see eye to eye with you, and He tells us to find Him.  We have to look passed all the walls, and say to ourselves, behind this wreck .. God is Present.  God is present in the poor, the rich, the strong, the weak, the prideful, and the humble, the good and the bad.  Each obsticle we face in this world, is a reminder from God telling us look for him.  Our God, is not a fearsome God, Our God is not a Hateful God, Our God is a Good God who stands for love.  We just have to ask, and look for it.  This makes being a Follower of Christ on of the hardest tasks anyone could ever do.  But with, Trust in God, it’s not an impossibility.
